Matt, Heather, & little Haley {Family Portraits, Athens TN}

I've loved being able to see Haley grow and to be able to photograph this beautiful family (I'm just a little biased). Matt, Heather & Haley came over for a morning photo-shoot here in Athens. We headed over to Tennessee Wesleyan College in addition to some cool fields in the area. One thing I love about on-location shoots is getting to know people in the area. This time, we met Mr. Vaughn who was out deer hunting and also runs a taxidermy business. You never know who you're going to meet!
Haley is such a photographic little girl. She just loved the little rocker we had for her. She did great considering how cold it was outside. I hope you enjoy this sample from the photo-shoot of this very special family!

Jenni & Michael's Wedding { Green Acres Farm, Englewood, TN }

This was more than a wedding, it was also a going away party for Jenni and Michael, who are moving to Pennsylvania after the honeymoon. I started tearing up on more than one occasion, like during Jenni's first dance with her father, or when Michael first saw his beautiful bride during the first look session. It was a day filled with genuine love, excitement for the future as well as one really awesome slideshow from Jenni & Michael's childhood. I loved that Michael's ring has the word "Faith" inscribed on the inside, and that Jenni's pearl bracelet belonged to her Grandmother. Jessica & Jared {Engaged}

This photo-shoot was so much fun! I loved Jessica & Jared's sense of humor, especially in dealing with the random cat that decided to join our party. This cat was seriously making love to Jared's feet! So funny. Oh and did I mention that we braved getting hit by speeding cars to get a quick photo on the road, yep. Livin' life on the edge ;)
But seriously, these two were wonderful to work with and it was great to see how much they love each other and like to have fun together. I'm so excited to be a part of their wedding next year :) Congratulations Jessica & Jared!
