Theresa & Richard's Wedding {Blackfox Farms, Cleveland, TN}

Finally getting caught up on some blog posts from a while back. Check out this Alice-in-Wonderland themed wedding complete with peacock feathers, gorgeous dresses, hats, fist bumps, high-fives, and tons of fun! "Hey, let's get married today" was what Theresa told Richard when first turned around to see her in her wedding dress. They are such a joy to be around, this wedding was all smiles (except for when Richard dropped the ring in the middle of the ceremony) But even then, you got to see how they made the best of every situation! My favorite part was near the end of the reception as the dancing was winding down, their close friends and family took time to share stories and tell the couple how much they are loved. Good Stuff!

































The next day, we met up for a "day after" shoot to have a little fun in Coolidge Park in Chattanooga. Theresa & Richard looked awesome didn't they? It was so much fun spending time with them and getting to shoot these photos!

Matt, Heather, & little Haley {Family Portraits, Athens TN}

I've loved being able to see Haley grow and to be able to photograph this beautiful family (I'm just a little biased). Matt, Heather & Haley came over for a morning photo-shoot here in Athens. We headed over to Tennessee Wesleyan College in addition to some cool fields in the area. One thing I love about on-location shoots is getting to know people in the area. This time, we met Mr. Vaughn who was out deer hunting and also runs a taxidermy business. You never know who you're going to meet!
Haley is such a photographic little girl. She just loved the little rocker we had for her. She did great considering how cold it was outside. I hope you enjoy this sample from the photo-shoot of this very special family!

Jenni & Michael's Wedding { Green Acres Farm, Englewood, TN }

This was more than a wedding, it was also a going away party for Jenni and Michael, who are moving to Pennsylvania after the honeymoon. I started tearing up on more than one occasion, like during Jenni's first dance with her father, or when Michael first saw his beautiful bride during the first look session. It was a day filled with genuine love, excitement for the future as well as one really awesome slideshow from Jenni & Michael's childhood. I loved that Michael's ring has the word "Faith" inscribed on the inside, and that Jenni's pearl bracelet belonged to her Grandmother.
