Baby Jennings is on the way!

Remember Kip and Jeremy's Outer Banks wedding a couple years ago? Well they're expecting a little boy in September. Woohoo! I was so excited they drove all the way from North Carolina so I could do their maternity photos. I was talking with them before the shoot and was remarking how wonderful it is that as a photographer, I get to share in people's happiest moments, from engagements, to weddings, to babies and so on. I love it. So much. And by the way, isn't Kip gorgeous! She's doing great so far and I'm sure that she and Jeremy will be incredible parents. Can't wait to see the little fellow in person
I've gotta mention the baby Tom's shoes, aren't they the most adorable things you've ever seen? Seriously - we are going to have to get a pair for my little man, too.

Audrey & David's Delaware Wedding

It was such an honor photographing Audrey & David's Wedding day. I love traveling for weddings and this was no exception. David was Audrey's first grade crush and they only just reconnected a couple years ago. They have so much love for each other, it was just amazing to see the importance of family in their lives. I'll have to admit, I teared up a couple times throughout the day because it was just so beautiful.
They were married in Audrey's church with the reception at Heritage Shores Club.
The bridal party was awesome, and so much fun! Thanks to all, and congratulations Audrey and David!

Mary, Jazmine, & Megan: Three stylish gals

These girls did such and awesome job working it for the camera. After getting their hair and makeup styled, Mary, Jazmine, & Megan were ready to head out. I found this field with wild roses growing in it the other day and was dying to do a shoot there, and the light was just absolutely perfect! I just loved it. Check out these beautiful ladies!

Little Adam { 6 months }

Let me introduce you to this little cutie pie, Adam. Oh what I would have given to be able to share all the cute sounds he kept making during the photo-shoot. You know the helicopter sound? He had that one down pat! I think my favorite part of the shoot was just seeing how in love he is with mommy (ie: Rebecca). A friend told me the other day that the feeling a baby has for their mother is the same chemical process adults have when they are in love. Whoa that's incredible. I love it.

Lovely Lore

Lore (pronounced Lor-ee) is a writer, a designer, and an artist. She is one of the most wonderful people I know, and also one of my closest friends. Her blog, Sayable.net is definitely worth checking out. These days she calls Texas her home, but we met while she lived here in Tennessee attending Lee University. We headed out this past Saturday for this photo-shoot and we only had to drive a few miles down the road for this great location. The cool thing about Tennessee is there's plenty of open fields with flowers. In our case, thistles : ) But pretty thistles nonetheless. We had such a fun time, laughing and cutting up, enjoying the outdoors, the sun and the beauty. Shoots like this are why I love being a photographer.

Robyn & Michael's Wedding Day

I was so honored to shoot this wedding! Robyn & Michael have known each other since they were kids. They even went to prom together! Michael, ("Baker" is what everyone calls him) is in the Army and Robyn has been busy getting ready to move to North Carolina where he is stationed. The morning of their wedding we set up a "First Look" session so that they could see each other before the ceremony. Baker was so excited to see his bride that he completely forgot I was there taking photos!! Good thing he didn't do anything he would regret seeing in their wedding pictures ; )

The wedding day was perfect! We had gorgeous weather, plenty of time for photos (a photographer's dream), and an awesome venue, Blackfox Farms The ceremony and reception were held in the huge red barn at Blackfox. The interior was lit by chandeliers and trees wrapped in string lights. It was just beautiful! The best part of the day was just seeing how much Robyn & Baker love each other and how important their family and friends are to them. I wish you two a happy and blessed marriage. Congratulations Robyn & Baker!
